Julie Heineman has worked in the healthcare industry for 16 years. She graduated from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, and completed additional coursework in Athletic Training at Madonna University. She also earned her Master’s in Business Administration from Michigan State University. Julie specializes in Medicare compliance of all types of healthcare facilities, and payer credentialing/ reimbursement. She has been working in this consulting role for over seven years. She is a member of the Michigan Home Health Association, and Health Care Compliance Association.

Paula Dunning, B.A., M.B.A.

Paula Dunning began her career in Human Resource Management and Accounting. She obtained a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from Wayne State University, where she also earned her Master’s in Business Administration. Paula brings a wealth of business knowledge to her interactions with healthcare providers, and also has a keen understanding of information technology systems. Additionally, Paula works with many types of medical practices on Medicare compliance issues. She is a member of the Michigan Home Health Association.

Stephanie Gwin began her career in the healthcare field and has a vast experience within many health care settings such as Hospital, Home Infusion, Homecare, and Outpatient Rehab. She has a wealth of knowledge in Healthcare Management and Human Resource Management. She obtained a Bachelor of Health Services Administration and continued her education by attending Villanova University in Professional Human Resource Management. She is also a member of Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Michigan Pharmacist Association/Michigan Society of Pharmacy Technicians (MPA/MSPT).

Annette Sudomir, B.S.

Annette Sudomir has18 years of experience working in the healthcare industry. She has a bachelor’s degree from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. Annette’s areas of expertise include group medical practices, outpatient PT clinics, rehab agencies, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities. She has tremendous experience in billing, collections, and compliance.  Prior to joining Certification Consultants, she spent a number of years monitoring financial controls and compliance for a large healthcare company.

Mary Ellen George, R.N.

Mary Ellen's career has been based on a lifetime of interest in
rehabilitation, first as a Rehabilitation Nurse and later as Rehab Services
Administrator. Having developed a special expertise in Medicare regulations,
she founded Certification Consultants, Inc. in 1991 and focused on assisting
Rehabilitation Agencies and Home Care Agencies in becoming Medicare
certified. She now works with Certification Consultants, Inc. on an "as
needed" basis only, having passed the organization into the capable hands of
Julie Heineman in 2001.

In the course of this working with these agencies toward certification,
Mary Ellen recognized a need for part time Social Work staffing. In 1993 she
established M.S.W. Consultants, Inc., which she also turned over to Julie in
2006. Since then, Julie and her dedicated staff of social workers have been
providing contractual Social Work staffing to Rehab Agencies, Home Care
Agencies and more recently, Assisted Living Centers, with a network of over
25 social workers in over 125 agencies in the Detroit Metropolitan area.
